Westminster hotel question?

I just found out that my husband will be giving us a trip back to DL in February. Of course it coincides with Presidents day and hotels are mostly booked in my budget range. I found the Best Western in Westminster. I am not concerned about the drive but I know nothing about the area. Am I good to go or should I keep looking? TIA

If you like Vietnamese food, Westminster is great! But is there anything closer that could work for you? Have you tried Priceline, Expedia, etc.? Is there anything in Fullerton, Buena Park, Garden Grove, Orange that might work? Those areas are closer to the parks.

I hear you about budget range. I usually stay in Motel 6 Maingate , you could try that. I have booked Kings Inn Anaheim for my June 2020 trip. There are motels around the $100 per night price range a lot closer to the parks than Westminster, but it takes a bit of work to find them.

Also remember you have to add in parking at the park to the budget. Staying closer, you could walk or use hotel shuttle buses, ART or UBER / LYFT all of which are cheaper than Disney parking charges.

I grew up in Westminster....it is quite a doable drive straight up and down Beach Blvd. but you should look closer.
