When I initally couldnt pull up my ressie (due to being an "old confirmation #) I just emailed technical support and got an answer within 10 min via email telling me what happened and what my "new" confirmation was...although that was only one of the many problems i've been having with WestJet lately...I just checked out the aircanada website and I can book an earlier flight the same day for the same price...I'm thinking of canceling my WestJet flight now...I just have a bad feeling about something happening when it comes time to travel with them..im just not sure

Yes. You go through US customs/immigration pre-clearance in Toronto, so your flight basically arrives as if it were a domestic flight. If you put your yellow tags on your bags, they will be picked up and brought directly to your resort room (assuming that your flight arrives before 10pm).

I have question about the ME tags we are fly west jet in may to the world

We are going Montreal to pearson then Pearson to FL. So we have to do all the u.s. customs stuff in person, but is this when we put on the yellow ME tags if we are useing ME? or can we just tag them in Montreal airport?

You could tag them in Montreal - slight increase in the odds of them being ripped off (an extra flight), but I haven't heard that this is actually a problem (i.e. I haven't read reports of the yellow tags getting ripped off in transit).

Don't forget they also need to call Magical Express and make reservations to ride on it and so their yellow tags can be mailed, because they can not just show up at the counter and then get on the bus to their resort.

Just an update on experiences with trying to get through to Westjet by phone:

Called this morning, 10:03 am Atlantic time.... got me an agent at 10:26! All I needed was my new confirmation number, so it was a short and sweet call.

Ok, this is ridiculous. They keep sending me emails saying my itinerary has changed...and yet it's the exact same email every single time .... with the contradictory flight times. It's either 10 am or 10:30.... and I've now been on hold for an hour with no end in sight. I should have gone with Air Canada. West Jet is quickly going into my folder labelled "do not fly ever again".

Hi I was on hold for 45 mins today Nov 21. I needed a new confirm # for my March flights and also wanted to do seat selection. The agent gave me free seat selection because of the long wait time. Save $80.

Hey CR fan

Sorry to hijack the thread but since it is Westjet related I thought I would ask.
I have my new conf # and I did seat selection. I have always booked air through a travel agent before so this is my 1st time doing it myself and I know you travel Westjet out of Toronto. So ? is when I check in at the counter in TO that is when I will get my boarding pass.. as well as the same in Orlando, and does MCO have a westjet counter?

You can log in on West Jets site 24 hours prior to your flight and print your boarding passes ahead of time. Yes, WestJet has their own counter at MCO. If you are using DME they will drop you off at the right terminal when you leave.

I just want to report that we travelled to Orlando Nov. 8 and returned Sunday 22nd. WestJet was great, absolutely no hiccups. Everything was on time leaving and arriving. Check in counters were swift as well. I did print my boarding pass from home 24 hrs. previous to leaving, but could not do so upon return obviously.
