Questions hopefully someone can help me with. I found a good deal of $149 which includes 10 days parking (which is what we need). Is there anywhere to eat breakfast there or in the airport? DH smokes so can he go outside the lobby door and smoke?

This hotel rocks. When you get there you just pull up to the front door and they take your car and park it....and when you return, just phone them up while you are retreiving your luggage after your flight and they will bring your car to the front door. They even have a security/checkin area right beside the front desk as to avoid the masses using the terminal.
There is a dining area which opens at 6 a.m. . You can also get breakfast once you have cleared security as there are PLENTY of restaurants inside the terminal. There should be no problem just going outside the front door to have a smoke. He will keep the valet employees company.
We have stayed in this hotel many times and will be using it for our Christmas WDW vacation and again for our Feb cruise. this hotel is so convenient and the staff has always been great.. Enjoy!!

Thanks for the info. I think I will go ahead and book it. We are also going on a cruise in February - can't wait, I'm so excited - that's why I've got all of our pre and post cruise hotels booked already, the Detroit one is the last - then on to booking the cruise excursions!

That is a great price for that. I have not stayed there but dh has and he said it's great. Not sure about the smoking thing. As the other poster said, there are lots of eats places once you're in the terminal, including a McD's, if need be.

Yes, I thought it was a great price as well, especially since it includes 10 nights of valet parking. Most of the other hotels in the area are around $100/night with 7 days of parking which would leave us paying another 3 days parking rates at $11/day, which pretty much brings us to the rate for the Westin. The convenience of not having to go out into the cold February weather with no coat on (since we definitely won't be dragging our winter coats with us) upon drop off and return to the airport is also a big plus in my eyes!

In case anyone wants to look into booking this, you have to go into "Hotel Offers" on the site and then "Park for a Penny". If you just go through the main reservation area the "Parking Package" rate is higher.
