which Westgate?

I would say Cypress Pointe - but I guess it depends upon what you are looking for?

how are you getting these timeshares? renting directly. going through II or RCI? (the exchange companies). using a friend's.

if you are renting directly I would suggest looking at
www.skyauction.com
click on USA/Canada
Click on Florida (over to the right)
Click on Hotels only (right bottom)

you are looking for 7 days (these are timeshares).

now if you are staying 7 days -
www.tug2.net - has some ads on the BBS site - you don't need to join to see these ads.

We have stayed at both on different trips. Westgate Lakes was about 6 yrs. ago, and Cypress Pt., 3 yrs. ago- we loved both! They are very different in what they offer. Westgate had lots more to do, as it is a much larger resort. We enjoyed walking by the lake and using the water trykes! I know alot of people have had not so great units, but ours was beautiful. I remember the screened -in porch had furniture with thick pads, unlike the white plastic stuff at Cypress. Cypress is closer to Disney, Westgate closer to Universal. Cypress Pt. reminded me of an apartment complex, much easier to get around if thats more important to you. The units (2-bedroom) are not as large as Westgate, but are almost done being remodled. Hope this helps!

Yes, it helps greatly!! Thanks!
Still confuse though...haha I guess we'll go with the best price & availability!
I also saw the Fairfield at Bonnet Creek Resort....very interesting!! At his point, it would be between Westgate & Bonnet Creek.

We have been looking at Cypress Point. And have seen some bad remarks about it being smelly. UGH! Where are you finding your info about Westpoint and Fairfield at Bonnet Creek Resort?

I would go with Fairfield bonnet Creek - it is new and it is as close to WDW as you get without being on site.

it is next to CBR and POP.

Is the Fairfield at Bonnet Creek for 7 day stays? We are only staying In Orlando for 3 nights. What would you recommend?

And we are there for 9-10 nights?!?
So complicated... but so exciting!

Fairfield is pushing the one at WDW badly. So I would not expect a price break for it. but who knows you might get lucky.

It is still under construction.

Loveeeyore - how many people? will you have a rental car?

You can rent a studio at OKW on WDW property for $80 to $110 (depending upon season) (thru a DVC member) - so make sure anything you get can do better much better.

be carefully of any 1-bedroom without a full kitchen - these things are closer to studios (my opinion) than 1-bedroom.

Hi! It will be me, my DH and our 7 year old son. We are driving, so we will have a car. I justed emailed you, spiceycat. :)
