the sales force is horrible.

but if you have no problems saying "no" and you will have to say it over and over. this is probably a good deal

We were able to extend our vacation for a couple of days because of this special. We are well aware of the vultures but hey my hubby really likes those 52" t.v's too. We are ready with all of the ammunition that we have learned from here but overall 10 days in Orlando, I think I can swim with some sharks for a 2 hours. Oh yeah we are prepared to say we will call the police if they dont release us in 90 minutes. We also will not let them kidnap our kids and put them in the kiddie coral. Lastly we will not be hijacked in the golf cart only to be left miles from our kids and car

Nevertheless great deal we could not pass that up

I think the advertisement is for a studio. but only some of the places are studio.

you have to call them and then I think you can request a bigger unit.

but remember 'No', 'NO', 'N O'

westgate sales force is very hard core.

I'm very good at saying "no". I've done lots of timeshare pitches (and even one with "Hustlegate" about 4 years ago). While I find Westgate to be the most obnoxious and rude, I enjoyed my tour of the 3 bedroom unit and asking questions like these in a very loud voice:

How many table settings are there in the kitchen? Oh, only for 6? So it sleeps 10 but feeds 6--and then only if every dish in the place is clean?
And sleeps ten but only seats 8 for a meal--using the counter space/bar? So the whole family can not sit down and eat together?
What percentage do the maintenance fees go up every year?
On top of the maintenance fee, what is the fee for membership RCI? And the exchange fee on top of that if I want to go somehere else?
How often does maid service come?

Hey, if you're stuck with them for 90 minutes---have fun with it!!!

I am copying down all this good info. They tried to stick us in a studio for 29 but we told them that we had 4KIDS and that was not going to work, so they put us over at Westgate Palace for the 2 bedroom for 29 dollars. Does anyone know how far is Westgate Palace from SilverLake?
