Western Way from Orange Lake?

I have been told to try the Sherberth Road shortcut coming from Orange Lake Resort / 192. But why wouldn't I just go up Hartzog off the back of the resort and enter at the new Western Entrance? Is this possible? Thanks for any help!

Hartzog goes right into Disney (becomes Western Way after going under 429).

I'm not sure whether the back of Orange Lake connects to Hartzog without going through a gate whose lock only firemen may cut but if not, Sherberth is quicker to Disney.

Most resorts have only one entrance so only one guard needs to be hired to man a booth there.

Western way is about equally as fast as Sherberth Rd, and there's a $1 toll between 192 and WDW. I'd recommend Sherberth.
