Western shore excursions question???

We are going on the Western 7 day cruise in Nov. Are there any excursions offered by anyone at the port when you get off the boat? We found that on our last cruise, 3 day, that the offers at the port were much cheaper than the ones we signed up for. We had our excursion to Atlantis cancelled and so we got a taxi at the port and the driver also gave us a tour and return trip for several hundered less than we woud have paid for.

the best thing to do is to keep reading posts on this board, checking out other sites, such as www.dcltribute.com and www.castawayclub.com for info. Not sure what types of excursions you are looking for from what you posted...

At every port of call on the Western cruise, they have people right when you get off for different excursions.

It can be risky as some days there are many ships in port and many operators are booked up.

You don't have to wait to get great prices though as there are many sites out there that let you book directly with the operators rather than through the ships that take huge commissions and thus the high prices.
