Western Gateway is OPEN!!! Skip I-4

The new Western Gateway is open.

If you are coming from the West or Northwest take I-75 tp the Florida Turnpike. Get off at Exit 267 Southbound on the Wesdtern Bypass, SR-429 (tolls).

There is a brand new exit which (It may be #6, 7, or 8, I;m not sure) takes you right onto WDW. The road ends at a traffic light on Buena Vista Drive.

Make a right turn for BB, AK, AKL or All-Stars. Make a left turn for CSR and everything else.

You will completely miss I-4, and incidentally you will miss both Sea World and Universal.

Hope this will help to relieve some of the congestion for those of us having to come from the northeast.

We drove Western Way/429 yesterday, both ways.
Going home, we saw two state troopers. One had someone else pulled over (almost to the WDW exit by CSR.)
On WW esp the speed limits are lower than people may expect. So like on all WDW -- watch your speed! They are!
