Can you please tell me the best online websites to book tours on our own for each port? Where are the best deals? WE are a family of 6 so I'm trying to be as economical as possible.

I've been doing a lot of research on Cruise boards and this looks like the way to go, so please post links if you can.

Cheers
Tracy

PS: how do I get a little picture??

In Grand Cayman we are using Captain Marvin (comes VERY highly recommended) for the Stingray City snorkel tour! Here's a link to his website:
Captain Marvin

In Cozumel, we are going to take a cab to Chankanaab park for snorkeling, swimming, etc. Here's a good website for them: Chankanaab Park

Then, (still in Cozumel) we are going to Pancho's Backyard (highly recommended by cruise ship personnel) for lunch (Panchos Backyard ) and shopping in the surrounding area. We also want to go to Carlos & Charlie's for a drink before getting back on the ship.

For Grand Cayman you will find horseback riding on the beach, stingray city, snorkeling, boat rentals, diving, waverunners, sailboat charters, island tours and Atlantis Submarine on

Grand Cayman Island Discounts

Happy cruisin':)

I did not use DCL for any of our excursions on the Western. For a really good description of kayaking in KW, look at DisneyDarwin's excellent trip report. We went to Chankanaab on our own (cab was $10 for 3 of us, entry is $10 pp) I think DCL wanted $75 for this. The place is amazing and you can spend all day there. To make it even more economical, that morning I ordered 5 sandwiches and cookies and chips from Room Service and put it all into ziplocs that I had packed. I also had a soft cooler so we were all set. There are guys who sell food & drinks at the beach (perfectly safe) very inexpensively - Cokes were $1, I think. They also had ice cream bars, etc...

On GC, we booked a sailing excursion through Red Sail Sports (www.redsailcayman.com) that was great. I cannot handle motor boats - it's the diesel smell - so wanted to sail. This was not cheap but was worth it - 4 1/2 hours including lunch for $75/adult and half for kids under 10.

Hope this helps.

Great discount site! Thanks Wavegirl!!!
I just sent a request to do the horseback riding on the beach, sounds amazing. My kids saw the pictures of the child on the horse in the water and went wild and said thats what they want to do. Hope they still have space!!!!

I can't think of a better way to get a tan than riding a horse along the beach!!!

The little picture you asked about is in the userCP...one your last post, click on profile on the bottom and then you will see options on the top. Choose the userCP and then edit options...look for the term AVATAR...it will give you options. CHeers!!

We booked our own excursions too! Key West, just explored on our own. Grand Caymen, we used the coupons from Wavegirls link for abanks divers ( walking distance) and Scuba from shore.
Our boys 9 and 11 did the resort scuba and dove to 40 ft.
At Cozumel we went to mr sanchos beach www.mrsanchos.com and shoped and then ate at Panchos backyard for dinner!

Got my little pic...thanks

By yhe way...when is the best time of the day to do the horse back rides?
