Western Cruisers...Excursion Advice Please

I'm very curious to find out opinions on various excursions. Let me tell you what I'm booked for and you can tell me whether you liked them or not:

KW: Cat. sail & snorkel tour
GC: Sting Ray City (a.m.) / Shipwreck & reef snorkeling (p.m.)
Coz: Tulum ruins (2 of us) / Fury Cat. sail, snorkel & beach party

Any suggestions, changes, pros/cons based on your experiences? As always, we appreciate the advice.

Hope you made the right choices because my daughter and I have the same PM choice in GC and the ruins in Cozumel. By the way we sail July 6th. She will be on the teen fury trip by herself that evening.

We did not do any excursons you mention; but did talk to a woman who did the Tulum excursion. She said it was interesting but HOT. She was from Canada so maybe a bit more suseptible to the heat.

Heat's not a problem for us - we live in the desert. We're used to 90+ heat here. If that was the only *con* (if you could even call it that) then I think we made a wise choice. My dd is very interested in the Mayan ruins - Chichen Itza would've been our first choice but Tulum seems to be a good alternative.

I've read trip reports about the "Captain Marvin" sting ray city excursion - is that the DCL excursion or different? If different, what is the difference between the two (i.e., what made you pick Capt. Marvin over the DCL trip?)?
