We are looking at going Western on Dec. I checked weather.com and typed in the ports. This gave me an idea of temperatures and average rainfalls.
DH and I went in Jan. on a 3 day. For me, it was a bit chilly for the beach and water activities. But, most of the cruise is is considerabley south of Castaway Cay. I am a bit concerned about the weather there. In fact, we couldn't dock at Castaway because of a storm on the island.
We did the 7-day Western in November 2004 ... we had practically perfect weather. There was one day that it was very windy up on deck, but it was far from cold. And there was one night that the boys playing up on the sports deck had to page us to bring them dry clothes ... the got caught in a rain shower. In fact, the weather was so good that we re-booked on board for the same week. We're cruising November 5th.
