Western Caribbean Excursions

Hello, our family (7 adults and one 2 y.o.) is getting ready to book excursions for our May 7 night Western. Any excursions that you would highly recommend? We seem to be limited from most water activities because of my toddler.

I've also thought about booking something not through Disney... maybe we would have more options for beach days that way. Any good experiences with that?

We just got back from the Western Carib and we did the Nautilus submarine in Grand Cayman and it was enjoyable. It was hot inside, but luckily it wasn't a full tour so there was some room to move around and see from both sides. There are sunken ships to see, plus we saw a shark. It was fun and not a far ride from the dock. We booked it through Disney.

Hello fellow Cruiser! We will be on the May 7 Western on the Magic. Kids are 5 and 7. We are looking at the Hop on/Hop off trolley in Key West- Booking independently, there have been several Groupons for it at about $25/person. Caymans: Going to do the Turtle Farm with DCL, and Cozumel: tossing up the beach at Playia Mia, Sea Lion adventure or The Tequila, Tacos and Chocolate tour. We have been to Cozumel three times already and have been to Playia Mia and Paridise Beach and the dolphin swim at Chankanaab. One of our trips to Cozumel, just adults, we rented a van and a driver for the day. We just got off the boat, no particular plans, hired a driver who took us to a beach at a hotel, we swam and snorkled, went to a tequila tasting, shopping and lunch at his mother's house (yep, living wild) I could have skipped the shopping but all in all - it was a fun day.

Well if you want the 2 y/o on the excursions with 7 adults you will definitely need to book private, or just do your own thing. Which is completely plausible and recommended by most.

Which ship and ports please? Fantasy or Magic.
