I'm hoping someone who has been there/done that can help me out.
We're on a Western Caribbean in October. (Myself, husband, daughter 15 and son 12) We had previously planned to do the dolphin encounter or swim in Grand Cayman, but we were also looking at the one in Falmouth, Jamaica. The reviews seem consistent with both for the dolphin experience. Has anyone experienced both? Are they comparable?
The part that worries me - I'm seeing nothing but negative reviews regarding the photo "harassment" after the encounter at Grand Cayman. Charging $55 (or some report more) per person for the photo CD. Making our family of 4 cost $220+ for photos of a 30 minute encounter. People don't seem have any luck negotiating the price and have said the people working there are very rude.
Would it be better (photo purchasing wise) to do the encounter at Falmouth, Jamaica instead? I see far less negative reviews there for photo packages. It appears you can haggle and although the price is still high, it doesn't appear they are as bad as in Grand Cayman.
Anyone out there had a good photo experience or advice for either? Thank you!
