I am flying out of Westchester County aiport. Since the parking is so expensive, I was thinking of staying over night at a hotel and leaving my car there. Any ideas? I heard that you can leave your car at the La Quinta, but I heard some negative reviews. Any advice?

Thanks!!!

If you are referring to the La Quinta that is in Elmsford, I've stayed there and it's gross. I have only stayed at a few LQ's and they all kinda sucked, but the one in Elmsford was at the top of the ickie list.

Less than 2 miles away you can find Marriott's but I do not know if they offer long term parking deals.

Westchester Airport is great b/c its so small, but bad because of the parking fiasco! La Quinta apparently offers a deal where you can park there and pay a pretty small fee, and I don't even think you are required to stay there in order to get this deal. Call the hotel and find out. Otherwise your best bet is to get someone to drive!

We did this about a year and a half ago. It is not the LaQuinta in Elmsford, it is in Armonk. At the time, you didn't even have to stay there....we didn't.

We drove there that morning, went in and paid our $10 a day and they had the shuttle take us the 5 minute ride to the airport. When we got back, they were there within 5 minutes.

Would highly recommend this. Worked out great for us.

Good luck and have a great trip!
