West side bag check location(s)?

We're staying on the Harbor side, so I hadn't thought so much about security and bag check on the other side of the esplanade, until I saw the beignets on Ralph Brennan's express menu. That started me wondering how much of a hassle it is to go from parks to DTD and back again, especially if we've bought all kinds of stuff in DTD.

Is DTD is within the overall park security zone, so to speak?
So we go through security in the morning (Harbor entrance) and we're good to go throughout our day in DCA, DL, & DTD & can just lug back all our beignets and other purchases without having to go through security again?

Or do we end up going through security between DTD and the esplanade?

Sorry if this was covered somewhere. I'm sure the info is out there somewhere. I'm just not finding it mentioned except on some several years old posts.

Yes, DTD was included in the security bubble awhile back, so you are correct that you only do security once to gain access to DL, DCA, and DTD.

If you go into the Grand Californian for any reason (like to eat at Craftsman), then you’ll have to go through security again.

Thanks so much for that info! And for the GC note, as I currently have Craftsman and Storytellers booked! That said, they're booked for lunch and supper, and we probably won't do much shopping early in the day so hopefully it won't be too much trouble.
