Your thoughts, West Jet vs Air Canada:
From Toronto. (To MCO)

Both at roughly the same time (10 am and 10:20 am)

West Jet is $40 dollars more than air canada.
But on Air Canada you have to pay for luggage.
So I guess that equals out.

AC is out of Terminal 1 (More expensive parking) and West Jet is out of 3.
But we're flying back with AC (I have aeroplan points to use up.)

Can you think of anything else that may sway my choice one way or another?

(We're flying on a Tuesday at a slow time, so my chances of finding a sale on the flight is pretty good, so if one of them goes 50% of something for that flight it's a moot point....)

I prefer AC entertainment system.

I also have personally found that the flight crew tends to be more friendly on AC, but that is just my opinion.

I prefer Westjet over AC anyday. I like their staff and service alot better and the fact that everyone has the same seat.

Last I flew with both airlines was 3 years ago, Westjet to Toronto and return with Air Canada. although I have nothing bad to say about either, I prefered Westjet. Like PP stated, I found their staff more helpful and had a better service but I would fly with either depending on who the cheapest was.

I tend to prefer Air Canada over WestJet as I prefer AC's entertainment system. I also find that through Star Alliance AC have a few more friends in the air (United, US Airways etc.) should you need to be re-routed although WestJet is getting better in that area. I don't think you can really go wrong with either choice.
