Probably not. The latest rumor is that when DCL builds a 3rd ship which is just a matter of waiting for the exchange rate (Euro) to go down to make it more financially feasible then the Magic will move to the west coast on a permenant basis.
Since the go ahead hasn't been given and it takes 2+ years to build a ship the earliest you might see a new ship is late in 2007, but don't hold your breath.
actually, 3rd ship does not mean permanent placement of the Magic in CA.
I spoke with a DCL rep a couple of weeks ago at a travel show. Yes, a 3rd ship is approved, plans are finalized, contract is drawn up but won't be signed until the EURO/USD exchange hits 1.24 When the 3rd ship is done it will sail out fo FL along with the Wonder & Magic. This will give them the chance to offer different itineraries/ports in the Caribbean.
The FOURTH ship (5-7 years out at this point) is what they have slated for CA.
