West Coast Car Service

We will be on the 5/28/05 WC cruise and we are looking for a car service to take us (4 adults) from DL to Port on Saturday morning. Do any of you that have visited DL or live on the west coast have any recommendations?

I know that there is a shuttle that will take us from the airport (LAX) to DL since we are all arriving on different days, but we would like to go to port together.

We are using the execucar services offered by super shuttle, both from the port to DL GC resort and then from GC to LAX.

You are able to make reservations in advacne (you also pay in advance).

We have used them in many cities where they provide service. They are excellent, very prompt.

WE are getting so excited but after having the logistics for MCO, WDW and Port Canaveral down pat this is starting to stress me out. LAX to DL to San Pedro - I know it will all work out but there is very little to go on.

I am piecing thing together from the DL and transportation board but all I really want is for it to all be done and head to the airport and start this trip.

Once the trip starts time can go v e r y s l o w l y but right now I just want it all to fall into place.

I believe the rate (before discount) was $66 to LAX. www.execucar.com will let you plan out the reservation and confirm the actual amount before charging your card.

It is worth the price to have someone standing there with your name on the sign at disembarkation!

Not sure which way you were doing it... if you were doing it in the "quote" mode... it won't show. However, if you go through the motions of booking... you'll see the discount apply just before the screen to charge your credit card.

I saw the screen where it said the discounts but it also said something about not at all airports (don't remember the exact wording). Then after I put all the information in the price it came up with was the same price as without using the code. Not sure if it would change if I went further.

Strange... I'm guessing it isn't offered for SNA then. Bummer... worked for LAX and PHX for us.

I was going to use a shuttle service to take us from the airport to our hotel and then the hotel to the port but then I discovered it was cheaper to rent a car for two days!

We are using Disney transport to the ship because there are going to be 4 of us going to DL but 7 going to the ship. It looks like $47 for a private van from Super shuttle - we'll probably do that or a taxi.
