Disney Cruise Line shows their port excursions. However, DCL does not make port during the Panama crossing.

Not sure what hotels DCL uses. As far as San Diego is concerned, the cruise terminal is in a very safe location and plenty of hotels are literally across the street. Last time we stayed at the Wyndham.

Intercontinental is where DCL had us in 2021. Walk right across the street to the pier and they took the luggage by truck except your carry on. As was mentioned there is a Marriot and Wyndham there as well.
