Were You Ever "That Guy" at Monsters Laugh Floor?

DH wasn't "that guy" but he was the Churro Guy which our nephews thought was hilarious (and talked about it for weeks after the trip)

my DH was once a few years ago. He's so not the kind of person who wants to get picked for things like that, so I thought overall he handled it pretty well. he was taken by surprise (obviously), and like I said that isn't really his thing, so he didn't ham it up as much as I've seen some other guys do, but overall it was a fun experience and my kids loved it. Now they keep going in hoping he'll be chosen again haha. He was also the churro guy once, and once was supposed to dance.

Those sound like good memories. When someone is a bit embarassed it makes it a good show because you can just feel the audience pulling for that person.

My son was once "that guy" three years ago this January. He was hysterical because he has such a calm demeanor and personality. They made the best of it with the words and actions and everyone was laughing so much. Folks were saying so many fun things to him on the way out. As this was the first time he had ever been in Monsters Inc and was appeasing me to go, he was caught totally off guard. A great memory!!

I was "that guy" twice and during both times, I constantly bumped into people from the shows, at various different times & various areas, who kept saying "Hey, you're that guy!!!!" LOL.

I was ”that guy” once and also had people that were at the show refer to me as that guy during the day. It did not bother me at all. We were on a family vacation and my grandchildren thought that it was hilarious. At one point during the show my six year old grandson leaned over and told his Dad that they really burned Grandpa.

I love that attraction - definitely in my top 10 in the whole of WDW.

We go every year to the laugh floor, and love it. They have picked my daughters for the smaller roles that you see during the show and I was laughing so hard they picked me as “that guy“. As a family we had a great time being “that family”. The disappointment is that you don’t get any pictures of that experience on your Disney photopass. Either way it’s great! Have fun with it like a kid!

Never had anyone I’m with be That Guy, but I think about the Laugh Floor every time I hear those two words said together. Always makes me smile.

Never That Guy, but my daughter did get her joke read one year. I absolutely LOVE that show while at the same living in mortal fear I will get picked for something.

I love laugh floor. My hubby has never been that guy, but my daughters and I have been put on screen while people are still walking in. I love the shows when the audience participates. Nothing worse then a grumpy that guy that does not want to play along. It makes me wonder how miserable of a life that is that you can't make fun of yourself. We laugh at ourselves all the time.

I have created in my mind a false memory that my friend Todd was "that guy" but his wife says they've never been on the ride... so... he would be great at it though!

I was part of the mind reading bit, though. And my friend Jenna's submitted jokes always make it in.

Yea, talk about a place that is tough to social distance ! The "preshow" area is one of the most crowded in Disney !
