Just wondering if anyone went to Disneyland last week....I'm hearing through the grape vine that POTC has a 2 hour line!!! Thank God for FP! But can anyone verify this and how were the crowds on a week day....and of course anything exciting you would like to share! Thanks!!! :cheer2:

umm, on Sunday, POTC was only like 15 min wait time, around 3:30.

i was at DCA Trick or Treat event selling churros on Friday and i was at DLR selling Lemonade on Sunday :)

very crowded still, im a bit surpised since its the off season. but rides arnt really 60+ wait time so thats okay i guess.

We were there the 15th - 19th - never saw more then a 15 minute wait for anything, and we were able to walk on to many rides. Crowds picked up a bit on Thursday - but still nothing horrible - I have seen it much worse then that.

Albort, do you think once Halloween passes, DLR should have its regular off season crowds?

First, POTC doesn't have FP. Second I had friends there all week last week and the crowds were not horrible, larger then they expected, but there were no 2 hour waits.

Sorry, but no they don't. They stopped using fastpass in 2005. Then they took out the fast pass machines when Captain Jack was added this year.

That is lame, but its ok 'cause the line moves very quickly anyways

I don't know if it would be the same b/c there should be Christmas decor up after Halloween, so i hope it dies down some.

We were at DL October 20 - 23rd. The park was much more crowded than I had anticipated, espically on Saturday. At around noon, the wait time for POTC was 45 minutes and Haunted Mansion was around 20 minutes.
The most crowded section of the park is always Adventure Land, right around Jungle Cruise and Indy. I hate walking through there.
DCA was surprisingly busy, but no major wait times.

We heard that schools in Arizona were/are having their fall break, so that's one reason why the parks are so busy.

Crowds have been very crowded i go every weekend usuall no wait to get in have seen huge lines latley to pay for parking

I don't think anything is going to settle down until Jan or Feb. I know they promoted the new Halloween decorations pretty heavily, plus with the start of the Dreams promotion, October has been more crowded than usual. As soon as the Halloween stuff comes down, the Christmas decorations will start to go up. The Christmas fireworks start Nov 10 and the parade starts Nov 17. The holidays will carry the crowds through about Jan 7, I'm guessing. Most schools don't start back after winter break until Jan 8. I'm thinking we'll see a drop in crowds then, or soon after.

Oh, and did some research after I posted on the pirates fastpass, they actually stopped earlier than I thought, in 2004, with the machines being removed in 2005.

Do you think it will be really crowded next weekend? Since halloween will be over and not all of the Christmas decor will be up (IASW doesnt reopen until Nov. 9th). What's funny is that I went the week of Christmas in 2004 and it was not crowded at all. Very nice indeed

I think on Sunday, the wait was around 40 min. That was the longest we saw for POTC. Come Monday, Tues and Wed, we waited only 15 min tops. One time we literally walked right on. We also pretty much walked on Indy three times during the week. No wait more than 10 min. The worst was Sunday we saw Haunted Mansion had around a 60 min wait, but we were given fastpasses by a CM so it took us about 10 min.

How was it on Saturday? :crazy2:
