Were you dining solo at Kona on Friday (8/22)

My family had a fabulous meal at Kona on Friday night around 8, during a torrential downpour. There was a solo female DISer sitting next to us (LGMH on purse). My DH is mortified when I call attention to us, so I didn't say hello but you were the only DISer I saw during my trip. Maybe all the LGMHs were hidden under ponchos. Belated Hello!

Could have been writing postcards. Didn't notice the meal, but saw that dessert was the fruit fondue. We are a family of two adults, two boys who may have been glued to their gameboys. It was earlier than 8, but we didn't get out of there until almost 9. There was a big party on the other side of you (if it WAS you), I think. Oh yeah, and I was snapping pictures of everything that crossed our table! Dee

In this case, it was because of the "LGMH" on her purse. LGMHs are Lime Green Mickey Head paint chips that you get at Home Depot. (At least you could before, and I'm pretty sure they are still there! ) Some DISers will cut them out and wear them somewhere on their person while at Disney to identify themselves to other DISers.

That was me, that was me! I had Fruit Fondue yes I did! Okay from where I was sitting you were over to my right and now that I think back I do recall a family coming in and boys playing handheld games. And there was a large party that got seated to my left with several adults and kids. I was at a table for two in between.

Well a belated "HELLO" and so glad you posted this! LOL! How funny! I didn't see a whole lot of LGMH on my trip either. A few but I had thought I'd see more.

Did you enjoy the solo trip? I got a few solo moments away from the family on our vacation. My older son was not feeling well during the trip, so my husband took the boys back to the resort a couple of times. I stayed behind at MK to ride Splash Mtn, do some photo stuff and grab lunch. On Thurs when we were done at HS, I got on the boat to EPCOT and got takeout from Japan and Morocco to take back to the family at the resort. And when the boys left EPCOT for a couple of hours, I stayed and toured the World Showcase solo.
