Were you able to use the new code

I was a fool and called at 6 not checking mousesavers first. Held for 20 minutes to only find out that BBY wouldnt apply to my POR ressies. I told her that I would keep my AAA and wait for AP rates to come out(not knowing they did)
I must have said that 3 times and she didnt say a word about it....I know, I know, she wasnt supposed to.
Well, called back when I found out, held for 45 minutes, had to hang up and go to cell phone. Held for 45 minutes, got POR king for only 4 nights at 99.25 ea. and WL(woods view) for 5 nights at
155.00 ea. Ended up saving $56 over AAA over POR for entire stay. Always wanted to stay at WL, but my DS10 loves POR.
Hope everyone had luck!

well I was able to get BBY applied to POP reservation, but i Really wanted POR w/bby or BCG code, but they said the resort is completely booked now, I called 4x's.:(

But how come is i go online it will let me book a room at POR, should i do it and then cb and try and have code applied???

VBenoit - they only allow a certain percentage of rooms already available when the code goes live to get the discount. So there may be rooms available, but if the code rooms were already booked, then you won't be able to get the discount anyway.

I asked him if there was rooms avail w/ the codes he said no niether, then i ask about getting the rooms w/the PKG, he said no, no rooms at all, even with out the code.

Maybe its a blessing in longer waits at bus stops, standing room only on buses right...I have to keep telling myself that to feel better. I just didn't want to have to share a double bed w/DD(8yo) and DS(22m), because i know DS wil not sleep in portacrib in a strange place.

It took 40 minutes on hold, with the 800 number, but we dropped our ressie for POFQ from the $99 (With tax) rate to the AP rate($82 with tax). Now I just have to get an AP.

A couple of questions for those of you that have talked to CRO...if you booked AP rates, were you asked if you had the AP number? I'm buying one but haven't yet and won't be getting it activated until this summer. Were there any discounts applicable to preferred rooms at the AllStars? We have a preferred booked in August, and if they aren't applying the discount to these rooms, I'll have DU change over to a standard room!! Thanks.

VBenoit,
Did you try PO french quarter for your dates. It seems like a lot of people just recently got the bby discount at this resort:D

they did tell me they have availblity, but I need a room w/trundle bed an FQ doesn't otherwise I'll just stay at POP.

Thanks anyway

Had to hold almost an hour thru the "800" number. I changed from the Visa rate to the BBY rate at POFQ. Didn't save any money but at least I don't have to put it on my Visa. I like to send in payments and have room paid for when we arrive. Now I wonder if I should get an AP and go for even less.

Started calling at 7am today (not 800 # 407). On hold for 45 min, tried to explain that I already had a resv. 4/14 to 4/22 (two resv. actually because I used 2 different codes for those dates)at POR.

She could not understand what I was trying to do. Just wanted to apply new AP BCG code to dates 4/18 to 4/26 told me I could only do it from 4/18 to 4/22. Took 25 min on phone with her to get that much.

Called right back to try another CRO (on hold another 55 min) she told me "all" BCG rooms were gone for all hotels. Wouldn't let me just apply the code to my existing resv. Said if no rooms were available they couldn't give me the discount even though I already had a room.
Very confusing.

Called back twice more, on hold for about 20 min each time and was disconnected each time.
Very frustrating after all this waiting.
Can't wait to see my phone bill.

:( :(

We had no problem applying the AP code to our 6/24-7/1 CBR King Room reservation. The key here is there seems to be more king bed rooms that are allocated for code availability at CBR then double queen rooms.

The rate is the same as we paid last December, around $99.30 a night, taxes included.

BTW, I think it would be helpful to others if when adding to this thread you specify the dates and length of your reservation as well as the type of room you're reserving.

As to the call, I called the 407 number and I was on hold about 10 minutes. The CM was helpful, friendly, and informed me that she had just finished applying the AP rate to a reservation for another guest and that things were pretty busy today. ;)

I had no trouble booking the ap code around 11:30 am eastern time. Maybe you should keep trying back??

I was unable to get the code for rooms at CSR May 23 - 29. She even tried adding/dropping dates. The CM told me the resort was completely booked.

She did mention availability for PO resort (both sides). I don't think there was anything available at CBR except king rooms at that time.

Oh, well, maybe next year!!

When I called today and was inquiring about the AP rate and told them I don't have it yet, I was told that you must have the actual AP and not a voucher (since the pass is not activated until you get there) So, make sure that you activate your AP before you check in. Just something I learned today:confused: But you can make a reservation without the actual AP in hand...they don't ask for any number.

When I got home from work called held for 10 minutes and added Florida Resident code to my Reservations but had to drop one night May 22, was not available. Saturday night.

I called, spent 45 minutes on hold (1-800#) and was able to apply the passholder rate to my existing res (previously using the Visa discount). Also discovered in the process that they had an extra person on my reservation that they were surcharging me for! Total saved $402! :Pinkbounc
