...DC did offer discounts during March '02. We stayed at AKL savannah view for $210/night, definitely not as cheap as I've seen with some of the recent codes but we never would have been able to stay there at rack rate. We could have gotten CBR for $170 night (I think, which is a LOT more than what people were paying this summer!), which was where we were originally staying. Oh well, maybe next time (actually, maybe the time after that).
I think that if they do offer codes for next March they will not be comparable to the summer codes. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for May codes.

Remember that March is peak season, so the rates are going to be higher than the regular & value season rates you are seeing now.
