Were there any characters that you HAD to see, but didn't?

In April we were looking for belle and the beast in france. They had esmerelda and frollo. Also in england 3 times that day they had winnie the pooh and friends. It was easter. Mary Poppins was suppose to be there too, (can you tell she is my absolute favorite), but they said due to easter and the special alice in wonderland tea party they were having they sent mary to the bridge. We never saw her the whole time we were there. Oh well, another reason to take another disney trip...the quest for mary poppins. I guess I will just have to book a character meal if I really want to see her next time.

I have been to Walt Disney World 6 times in my entire life. I have never seen Donald Duck nor Goofy outside of a parade or a show. I am making it a point to see both of them during my July trip.

I find that Tigger is elusive. I go Tigger hunting each trip. Pluto is my favorite character to pose with though.
I can't wait to take photos of my son with him!

I love finding characters, and my main mission on each trip is to find the ones who keep eluding us!! This includes Brer Fox, Darkwing Duck, Jane Porter, Mulan male characters, and Prince Philip. I always keep my eyes open for characters whenever I am visiting the parks.

But I think I officially lost hope of ever finding any of these remaining characters, as they seem to be too rare! Guess I will have to go on rides instead of character-hunting!

We always miss the one we're looking for: Jiminy Cricket!

DH and I wanted to see Kuzco, Kronk and Yzma on our last trip, but we didn't. Apparently they're not out very often :( Maybe this trip thought!

DS loves getting autographs (he's 9!) and was most interested in the Beast, but we didn't find him!

Thanks Bonzo great link! We can't seem to find Mary Poppins (we see her in the parade but want pic with her). We find her at Disneyland, but not at Disneyworld. Never thought to look at Epcot for her.

We've met Mary Poppins at bkst at Cinderella's Castle! But only in 2002.... didn't see her in 2004.....................P

my son loves the characters from Aladdin. We didn't see any of them on our last trip. I'm making a point of finding them on our next trip. We are def going to Epcot and hunting thenm down. :p
I'll make a list of our characters we haven't seen and try to find them. But Aladdin, Jasmine and Genie are on the top of the list.

OhMyGosh - I didn't even know there WAS a Jiminy Cricket character at the parks. I have never seen him. OK - that's my quest for when we go next time - "Find the Cricket!"

The most elusive character for me has been the Beast. He's awesome - but only out for short periods of time and I always miss him.

Easter of this year, we saw Mary Poppins several times in MK near the Pinocchio resturant in Fantadyland. She was great, she kissed my DD7's autograph book and surprised my DS4 with a kiss on the cheek. She even had the penguins with her!

We saw Mary Poppins at MGM, Goofy and Donald and Brer Fox at the MK, Jiminy Cricket at Epcot.

FYI-when Toontown opens, the characters lead children into the land. Tigger is often there.

My elusive character is Brer Rabbit. I've only seen him at the AK parade but search for him every day.

A good tip to know is that you can ask any CM to find out for you if and where a certain character will be appearing that day.

I thought I read some where that the Power Rangers were at Disney World. I can't find that message board now. Does anyone know if the Power Rangers are there? My 4 year old son would love to see them. Thanks!

I would love to know also. The Disney store sells Power Ranger toys and also the sell clothes w the Power Rangers on them. I wonder where we can find out.

my dd is always looking for Capt. Phoebus!

I would like to see all 7 of the dwarfs. Not only would it make my heart happy, but it would leave my 4 yo DS with a permanent smile.:teeth: We have only been able to see them during the parade...
