Were the block out dates for FD and room discounts the same in October 2011

I was just wonderig if there will be any hope of a room discount when we will be going in October. I'm pretty sure my week is blocked off for free dining this year. Does anyone know if the room discounts had the same block out dates as free dining last year in October ?

They can very slightly, but, generally, the dates are going to be similar, if not the same, for free dining and room only discounts. They are only going to offer discounts for dates that they need to fill rooms.

I noticed on mousesavers that last year it didnt look like there were any room discounts during the week we are going but the year before in 2010 there were. So who knows, I guess it depends on what rooms need to be filled.

I know the fall/winter room only discounts didn't come out until 10/5 last year and covered only 10/30 to 12/23. So next to no GP room only October discounts last year.

Yeah that stinks, hope they copy 2010 discounts instead of last years
