we're still waiting for santa

to come visit!!!! Turns out he has been in Iraq for quite awhile and is taking a big gray plane our way on New Years Eve !!!!!! In short DH will be home for his two week leave at the end of the week and so Christmas (and all the presents) are waiting for his arrival!!!
The kids and I are so excited we can hardly sleep ......
we'll open presents and than off to Canada for a weeks skiing (taking the kids out of school for an extra week of vacation...let the high school math teacher TRY and stop us!!)
The upside to all of this, besides having DH home of course, is presents get to be bought this week with all the great after Christmas sales!!!

Have fun skiing! We learned how in Colorado of '03....It's tricky business! lol
