We're Stay At The Poly!!!!

Hey everyone! I just booked a 20th anniversary trip for husband and I at The Poly!! This is a super big deal for us - We never splurge on ourselves like this. We have kids, and that's where most of our money goes, just like most parents.

Having said all that...

I'd love any tips or tricks you may have. What section should we ask for (we booked standard because $$$)? Can you still watch the fireworks from the beach? How early should we get there? Is there a better place to watch the fireworks from at the Poly? Any suggestions on little, our of the norm stuff to do/see there? Anything really - We really appreciate it. This will definitely be a once-in-a-lifetime trip for us!!

Have a wonderful stay! The poly is amazing!

Yes you can still watch the fireworks from the beach, they pump the music in so you can hear that too.

For a standard room, I recommend Samoa. It’s close to everything and keeps you away from any future construction.

For an adults only trip Trader Sams is fun and also the generally yummy cocktails at the pool bar (some have dole whip in).

Best Poly tip EVER: You can walk to the TTC from the Poly in about ten minutes. The entry to the path is clearly marked. Just head out the main entrance of the GCH, turn left and keep walking along the sidewalk until you see the walkway sign at the far corner of PagoPago.

It's a beautifully paved and landscaped walkway, too.

Don't bother waiting for the resort loop monorail at the TTC unless you simply want to ride it around for fun or you're too exhausted to walk--and if you are that tired, you wouldn't make it down from the Epcot train, over to the resort loop ramp and up it to that station anyway.

Finally, breakfast at 'Ohana. The pineapple-coconut bread is YUMlicious!
