I was told that I am not eligible for this as I bought my Mac at Best Buy.

I have complained vehemently about this all the way to the top of the Customer Service food chain.

It's a TERRIBLE policy and I'm told that most Apple employees agree with this.

Why buy a Mac at Best Buy? The purchase experience is much nicer at the Apple store.

Didnt need an Apple expert....already knew what I wanted and it's the exact same price.

Torrential rain storm....parked in front of the door at Best Buy, didnt have park in the lot at the mall and then walk to get to Apple.

Needed something else at Best Buy...two birds / one stone kinda thing.

In and out of the store in less than 15 minutes with Mac in hand.

Figured an Apple is an Apple is an Apple....didnt realize that you'd be a second class Apple owner for buying at Best Buy
