If you haven't found out yet, I am going through the same process right now, so I can tell you what happens with me at least. We did not fax our app, but we gave all of our info and the initial $500 deposit on Friday, 1/7/05. Monday, I called and made our first trip home reservation. Today, Wednesday, I got our packet in the mail. It has all of the forms to sign and send back. However, it did not have an application for credit. I think that's because we applied last year and were approved, but then decided to wait a year to make sure we could afford the payments w/out it hurting us. Anyway, I will have DH sign them tonight and then have friend notarize the mortgage and send them out hopefully tomorrow. I will wait until next Friday, 1/21/05 to pay the rest of my downpayment. Hopefully, everything will be fine w/credit and all, but if not we can put more down. Anwyay, our packet had temporary cards and all. I think then, we basically are down. It isn't suppose to technically close for us until June 7, 2005 (our UY is August), but I have read that some have been closing much sooner. I guess we'll see. By the way, we may be neighbors. I'm part owner of unit 42A- check your papers and see if we own the same unit. Anyway, I know how excited you are! Since I may be a few days ahead of you, feel free to ask anything you need.
