We're now POPsters!!!!!

After calling TA again (some of you will recall my dissappointed post about the "uninformed" TA), I reached another TA that I KNOW has been working with my TA for a LOOOOOOONG time!

Well I told her about what had happened with "the guy" and she said that he never relayed the message that I called even ! Anyway, I forgive them since they are merging with another office and I know that it can be hectic.

She said "wait a minute, let me see if there is availability for the days you want at POP"...YES!!! Sure enough, there were available rooms all together (we are booked as one BIG ressie of 12). She said that she will go ahead and make the necessary changes for POP!!!!!

Now I am really excited as I think the pics I've seen on allearsnet are much nicer (to adults anyway) than the ASMo. As a "Moderate and Deluxe" girl myself, I think it will be easier for me to handle the "value" aspect...please don't think I'm a snob!!!...I'm really happy to just be able to go!!!!!!!!!

Thanks everyone for the great advice! We'll be seeing WDW 10/10 - 10/14 (5 days but who cares!!!!!!!)

WE STAYED AT POP CENTURY OVER CHRISTMAS,AND LIKE YOURSELF,WE HAD ALWAYS STAYED AT MODERATES AND DELUXE.I WAS VERY HESITANT,BUT I WAS PLEASENTLY SURPRISED.WE LOVED POP CENTURY-EVERYTHING ABOUT IT WAS GREAT.ALTHOUGH IT WAS BOOKED TO FULL CAPACITY,IT NEVER FELT CROWED.I DON'T THINK I'D STAY ANYWHERE NOW.I KNOW YOU'LL LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!

Hey SRRN neighbor!
We stayed at Pop this month, and it was our very first value resort because we too have always stayed deluxe or moderate. We liked the parking set up, and all the theming was cool; our only complaint was that after we checked in just before 2 AM, our keys didn't work and my DH had to go all the way back to check in to have someone come and open the room up...that and we ALWAYS request a non-smoking room, and she said that since we didn't specify non-smoking (which we did) all that was left was smoking. The room wasn't too smoky, and we were only there for 2 nights before we moved to OKW so it wasn't that big of a deal. We think we'll stick to it to take care of those pricy weekend point nights!

we are going june11-18 what are the best bldg to request we have 2 grandaughters staying i did request 60 bldg but no guarentee.any help we want to stay near a pool

the 60's is the preferred - if you paid the preferred price you will get the 60's

I like the 50's!!

We stayed in the 70' (Big Wheel Building) On the end near EVERYTHING!!! IT was great!! DD 3 1/2 and I did a girls trip and it was so easy!! We changed our minds to stay there at Thanksgiving, we enjoyed it so much!!!

Crazy4mic - my DD and I will be at Pop Century June 10-18 - maybe we'll see you there!!!

If you paid for the preferred rooms, you'll be assigned to the 60s. We stayed in the 60s bldg (the one with Mowgli & Baloo) last summer - we LOVED it!!! Our room overlooked the kiddy pool. It was really nice, and quiet!! This past December, we stayed in the 50s bldg (the one with Tramp) and LOVED it too!!! It was a nice, short walk to the food court/gift shop/bus stops!
