UPDATE!
So, we were seated at our table and our waiter got us our drinks. Then we were free to go and try all the African dishes.
Here are some of the foods we tried:
(Do you see the rice? That's the famour Couscous that my dad and DB's adore)
And dessert...
I LOVED those little cups filled with chocolate with the brown and white striped chocolate straw on it. I had like 20 of them they were sooo good!
(It looks like a SMILEY FACE!)
Boma was okay. It was nothing special. The best thing about it was the couscous and the chocolate cups for dessert.
After dinner we decided to go play miniature golf, Winter/Summer land. Well, it was pretty late but we got on a bus anyways and the bus driver told us that if we went to Winter Summer land the only way we could get back to the Poly was by a cab. Which, we were not doing. So he told us we could go to the Fantasmic one that's across the street from the Swan and Dolphin. So we went there. The CM bus driver was really nice and helpful, we were lucky we got a nice bus driver.
So we stopped in the Swan for a restroom break... here is my DB's and I infront of the Swan waterfountain:
Then we crossed the street and went to the minigolf place. There were two different courses. The garden and a different one. I wanted to do the garden course but that wait was 15 minutes while the other one was only 10 minutes. So we did the other one. Boo. After 10 minutes we started and WHOA. You had to be a professional golfer to even get close to a hole in one! I think once I got it in after two hits and so did Jonathan, but that was it. That course was literally the hardest one in the history of courses. We lost our golfballs a few times but found different ones along the way. It wasn't all that great. I wouldn't want to do it again.
Here are a few shots:
(Do you see what shoes I'm wearing??? My Rainbow flip-flops. I couldn't handle my shoes rubbing up against my feet any longer, plus I wanted my blisters to BREATHE instead of being uder 6 bandaids all day long)
After we finished all 18 holes we went back to the main desk and we got free golf balls with Grumpy on them :]
Then we walked back to the Swan and got on a bus. Our first bus driver had told us that once we got on a bus to go back we'd have to be dropped off at the MK and would have to take the monorail back to the Poly. Because if you're a MK bus you go back to the MK an hour after MK closes. So once we got on the bus (we were the only ones on) the bus driver told us "You know MK closes right now" we told him we knew. Then we realized that EVERYBODY would be boarding the monorail at the moment because MK JUST closed. We told the CM bus driver we were staying at the Poly and we told him about our mini golfing experience. He told us that he and his wife couldn't do the golf course we had just done either. So he knew how we felt. Before I knew it we had pulled up infront of the Poly. The bus driver told us "Since you couldn't master that course either, I'll drop you off here. I don't want you guys to have to wait for an hour to get on the monorail." So we got off the bus after thanking the CM a thousand times :]
This trip we had INSANELY good luck with Bus drivers! Our first one skipped Blizzard Beach and took us straight to AK. Then our Bus driver took us to the Swan and told us all the information we would need to get back to the Poly. Then our next Bus driver took us straight to the Poly instead of the MK. We were totally lucky!
So we headed back to our room and that was the end of day 7 :]
Up next:
The people who wake up early and the DB with a stomach ache
