we just got in to the Pirate Cruise at the Grand Flo! it is the morning of the 8th bithday of my DS! i may be overplanning, but i can't wait to have him wake up to a character phone call, open presents, & then go on a special pirate adventure!!!! the CM on the Res. line asked me if it would be ok to put a little note on his reservation stateing that it was his birthday. OF COURSE IT'S OK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she was a doll! ( THANKS MELANIE!!!!!! )

Now...if i can only hold it together until then. i swear i get more excited than anyone else! this will be the BEST surprise!

lol... I HATE THAT CRUISE! Ok mainly b/c the meet up and boat load was directly under our room. 7am Kids screaming "Yo ho yo ho a pirates life for me". Parents who where also just yelling and being verying annoying at 7 AM. But ok that was more in jest.

And to the poster...you sounds so amazingly excited and you might be able to walk on the water next to the boat I know the feeling. We are 12 days away from revealing the big birthday surprise. We leave in 38 days for my kids first trip to WDW.

It is all the way at the end of the main canal. Kind of by the dock where you get the boat to the MK or poly. Our room was lagoon/castle veiw. It was magical seeing the castle at night before you shut your eyes, we never shut the curtins.

Thanks! I am in SLC, so hopefully we will be out of ear shot. We originally had the LV, but switched. Conc. is much easier with young children.

my DH is upset that adults aren't allowed on the pirate cruise! i think that disney should consider an evening pirate adventure for adults. they would certainly get some money from my hubby! (they'd get money from me too if a Depp look-alike was aboard...aarrrrrrrrrggggggggg! )
