Well we landed back in manchester this morning after the most wonderful trip!
I really cannot think of any lows of the trip (apart from perhaps the number of bug bites I received!)
We absolutely adored SSR & really liked our location in the springs section being half way between both the paddock & high rock springs pools. The resort was beautiful & so peaceful. I think it will definitely become our resort of choice as we particularly liked being able to walk or take the boat to DTD.
Our experience with magic bands & fp+ was brilliant. It was especially good being able to stand outside dumbo when there was a wait of 30 mins & be able to get a fp for 5 mins time! Also great when DD decided whilst at downtown that she just had to ride the barnstormer - sat on the bus planning out our late afternoon schedule!
We were on the ddp this time so we're able to experience a lot more in terms of table service meals. I had planned quite a heavy schedule but realised early in the trip that we'd perhaps have to rethink some of the tea-time ressies. My cali grill ressie went in favour of a Akershus lunch that appeared mid-way through the trip & our DD definitely enjoyed this more! She even got to lead the parade holding ariels hand. We had a lovely meal at BOG & thought the theming was beautiful. DD enjoyed the character breakfasts at H&V & o'hana. (Think I might need to do a separate review of the dining as we seemed to eat so much food).
Anyways - we had an absolutely awesome time & I was thankful for all my planning. We saw Anna & Elsa in 5 minutes with our fp+ when the queue outside said 300 minutes. We also got 3 rides on the mine train on which we learnt that DD really loves rollercoasters!
As DD is only 3 she wasn't tall enough for the mountains in MK or the big rides at the other parks which unfortunately for us means that we will have to return for her to ride them ?de09 It's a long way off but 2019 here we come!!
