Sorry for my little freakout on the live trip report and then never coming back, lol.
I have anxiety issues in general it really wasn't the Fort's fault.
We had a BLAST!!!

Nap time. This is when we discovered that little one is allergic to Florida. we kept her dipped up on Claritin the rest of the trip.

Taking the ferry to the contemporary for dinner.

We really did have a good time. Cooking was a problem because one of the kids turned a knob on the outdoor stove, starting the propane, so when we went to use it, there was nothing left. I was not happy about that.
We didn't get much time to explore the fort. We went to the meadows pool on sunday afternoon and we walked through the settlement and that was about it.
We will probably do it again when we get a little more experience camping so I'm more comfortable with the whole thing. I want my own pop-up so bad.

Gald you made it back home, love your little girls hair and Minnie Bow. :)

I don't know about any one else on here, but my first camping and second camping experience was here at the Fort. You can't find a nicer place with more amenities. I figured if I was gonna try this it was going to be somewhere that would have everything I could possible think of needing, that I could trust for excellent customer service and that I didn't have to worry about the facilities being clean etc.

We started with a pop-up (that we borrowed a couple of times), then advanced to a travel trailer without a/c and now we stick with 5th wheels. You kinda figure out what you need, like or don't like or need as you go along. :)

We have ventured to other RV resort locations, but honestly we haven't been to a nicer place with more trees and the feel of camping without all the skimping yet! Course if we had a motorhome that maybe a different story as it looks like some of thoe motorcoach resorts are nice- outdoor kitchen anyone? LOL!

Hope to see you back "real soon."

So glad you made it home.. and happy to hear that you all enjoyed your trip. We love the fort, and I can't think of any other place that I would enjoy staying at more while at disney.
So sorry to hear about your little one having an allergic rash from something there..
No matter where you are, kids seems to find trouble... lol it's a shame that they found the propane outside stove..
How was your drive to Florida?
