I'm really enjoying your trip reports. Helps the time go faster until I'm there again. I was there in June at the Boardwalk Villas and now in October I'll be at SSR.

Today was Animal Kingdom--we actually didn't do this one on our last trip, so it's been awhile. Wow, did we have fun. Much better than we remembered. Two older DD's LOVED Everest, while the rest of us enjoyed Pangani and the Maharaja trails. We also loved the Lion King show, and then the best thing--we saw DeVine!!! Very strange but very neat.

Spent the afternoon at the Grandstand pool--no rain today!!! Then tonight we went to the Hoop De Doo Revue. Funny, no matter how many times we go to that show, there's always a few jokes we haven't heard that completely crack us up!!

Hi all!! Well, yesterday we kept as our quiet day. We went shopping at Downtown Disney, then hung out at the pool for the afternoon. I just love the Grandstand pool. It's never crowded, and the kids have a ball. Then hubby and I had 'date night' -- kids ate in the room, but we had dinner together at the Turf Club. I have to say, the food was excellent, but it was far too rushed for a proper 'romantic' night out. We were done in under an hour. There were several people trying to get in that didn't have reservations, too, so that was slowing things down checking in. I wonder if we were rushed so they could accomodate some of the 'free dining' folks? Who knows?? Anyway, not sure we'd do again, though we loved the food, so it's too bad.

Today we went back to the MK-- and had much better luck with the busses. Guess what that means--I heard the Welcome Song!! fPark was actually less crowded than it was our previous day here. We're relaxing for the afternoon, then heading back for Crystal Palace and Thunder Mountain in the dark!! (well, if it doesn't rain.....)
