How are you enjoying the 300 Loop?...I wonder if you would be able to tell me something. A couple of years back we looked at this loop and we liked a site directly opposite the basketball hoop located near the entrance to the loop. On your right as you enter the site. I wonder if you were able to let me know what the site number is. I believe it was NOT the first site as you entered but perhaps the second..? I know if you were to go out the back of the site there was water..and view of the playground/volley ball area. Don't mean to be a pain, and if you don't want to be bothered..don't worry about it. I just figured I'd ask and if you were so inclined, I be very appreciative.
In any case...Do you have a pet..is that why you are in this loop..or do you enjoy it for it's location. how about proximity to other amenities.

Hi Auntie, we just returned from Typhoon Lagoon, and yes we are having a great time.

Anyway, as for the site you're speaking of, I believe you're looking for Site 305. The basketball hoop is across the street and this site backs up to the playground. This is the site we always ask for, and did this time, but have only gotten it once. Its a great site is you have little ones that like to play on the playground. This is the main reason we stay in the 300 loop is for this site. We don't bring our pets. Oh well maybe some other time.

As far as amenities go, you're close to the marina and Trails End. The pool would be a hike if you don't rent a golf cart or don't have bikes.

So far we have stayed in the 1400 loop twice, 500 loop once, and 300 loop twice counting this trip. I think next year we're gonna try out the 700 or 800 loop.

Thanks so much checking out the site for us. I don't have "little ones"..my younger one is 15..and I remembered the basketball hoop being directly opposite the site we checked out a few years ago. Thought it would be convenient for him. I remember that the water was out the back of the site, you couldn't actually see until you walked through some brush area and back that way. We originally thought of the 300 because of the dog, and we wanted a preferred cable site. It's unlikely we would bring him now..but you never know. We really liked the loop. We also are considering the 1400 loop..the outer loop. As that appeared closer to the Meadow Pool complex and Trading Post. Which did you prefer..the 300 or the 1400? Being as you mentioned you have stayed in both. Please excuse all the questions..I so appreciate your taking the time bother with them! We do bike and would plan for a Golf Cart as well. As much as the basketball hoop is convenient, I think he might enjoy being closer to the pool and the arcade! The place is so beautiful, I don't think any loop is bad really. Enjoy your trip!

Hi Duane! Sounds like you are having a wonderful time! I don't know if you are still there but I was wondering if you could recommend a cabin location? We've never been there but will be staying in December! Can't wait! I just have no idea what is a good location to request for a cabin! Are there any streams/waterways in FW? Might be fun to be near something like that. I don't know! Appreciate any recommendations! Thanks! Have fun!

Sorry Liz, but as I type this message, I'm sitting at my computer at home. We left the Ft. yesterday morning.... So this morning, no coffee from Trails End, no boat horns from the marina, no cool breezes from underneath the awning of the camper....

Oh well, guess I'll have to wait until next year when we return to the Ft.

Liz, if its any consolation, I would not have been a good judge of cabin locations as we have always stayed in the camper. But I'm sure some of the cabin veterans can help out.
