I always wanted a little Annie or Anna. I'd love a little Katie.
DH and I both like Samantha.
I love Bayleigh
DH's grandmother was named Emma, he really really wants that for a girl if we are ever blessed with one. I told him it's too popular so we may go with Emery or Emme.
They are both the only ones in their grades, and I'm surprised. I never got to use Charlotte, Elizabeth, or Claire.

We didn't want any top 10 names either, also din't want something people would have difficulty spelling or pronouncing. We went with Rachel for our DD.

I know what you mean about the popular names. I am a Jennifer. PP was right, There was at least 4 other Jennifer's in my classes growing up. So I was determined not to do that to my kids
When I got pregnant with 1st DS, before knowing if he was a boy. I was going to name him Alexandria if he had been a girl.
DS2 was going to be Aralyn. which is actually my DDs name. Aralyn Milani.
Milani we got from Leilani. I wanted an M middle name, family tradition. So I revamped it and made it my own. There's a make up line called Milani, had no idea.
Good luck and congrats on the princess.

If I'd have had girls I would have used the names Brigid (Bree) and DeLain (Lainey). Neither are very common.

The nice thing is that it has the same meaning as my mom's name, so it's like we will be honoring both my mom and my grandma.
