We're Going to Disney World!!---TR started 4/29!

Yes, my weekend was pretty nice, relaxing too. A safari park sounds really nice...did you and Nick get the week off from work or something? What kind of decorating are you guys exactly doing? Are you revamping everything?

Were trying to redo the whole house as we haven't done hardly anything since we moved in 2 1/2 years ago and its all so old fashioned. Were trying to do it all room by room, but ended up doing the lounge and hall at the same time, which ended up being 2 really big jobs. Thankfully we have pretty much done the lounge, we just need to do a few touch up paint jobs and were waiting for our electrician to come around so we can change all the lighting. The hall on the other hand is still going to take a while as we can't reach the ceiling to tape it off, and we need to find some furniture for it, but so far have had no luck. Hopefully it will be done soon though so we can move on to the next room.

OMG funny that you asked about that because I told my grandma about it after you told me (because I knew she would find it and order it for me because she's good and nice like that and she loves me) and she found it and ordered it last week!! She was telling me how she got such a great deal and how she ordered a second one at half price for my cousin Tara's girlfriend ToniAnn I can't wait to get it!

Cute clothes!

When you are buying your little travel-sized stuff for the trip, you know it's almost here!

I've got to get all my last minute stuff bought and loose ends tied up this weekend, because if all goes well, this time next week, I'll be sitting on an airplane heading toward my happy place!

Beautiful new clothes!! I love, love, love the pink dress!!! So pretty!!! I finally, nothing like waiting until the last minute, ordered new shorts yesterday! Normally I don't wear shorts but I hate to be hot!! I figured I'd give them shot this time!

Yes we plan on being here for at least the near future, its the sensible option at the moment. But hopefully in a few years we will be able to move down to where all my family live, I can't wait until we can.

Oh and I forgot to comment on your shopping. The stuff you ordered is really cute, I especially love the tube tops, they are so nice. And the dresses are lovely, you will look so cute.

Thanksss!! I got the 2 dresses and the shoes today and I got an email that 2 of the shirts shipped today because they were on back order. The other shirt is still on back order so we'll see when it comes. I think the pink obsession comes from being blonde, I swear!

Were about 4 1/2-5 hours drive, and its such a long boring drive. I can't wait to live just down the road so we can see each other all the time, like the rest of my family.

Well I promised this update a while ago so I hope no one hates me for not posting sooner but here it is! For one thing, I got in the dresses and shoes I ordered (pics in the last update) and I absolutely LOVE all of it! Now I will post some more shopping items that I didn't put in the last post.

Chris and I went to Target a couple of weeks ago and we bought some travel size stuff (which I told you already, I dont wanna sound redundant!) so here's what we got

Just the regular stuff but I think we're going to need more. I'm so worried about only packing one bag and then if we only have one bag each, going over the weight limit with them. I'm going to have to put some of my stuff in his suitcase I think because I tend to overpack All the empty little containers are for shampoo and conditioner for me, 2 each because I am really particular about what I use in my hair. Chris can use whatever they give us in the room, he doesn't care. We're also going to need another thing of aloe and wet ones probably and I still keep forgetting to get an over the door shoe hanger thing, I have to remember to do that!

Isn't it so cute?! And something that is not so cute, which I hate to even admit I bought....

I did it. Unbelievable, I know. Even my mom was shocked and appalled! But they really are SO comfy, even if they're hideous. I will be happy when I'm walking around for hours and hours and my feet feel like heaven. So I'll wear them for a week and then retire them from any possible human sitings until we go back next year

That means its getting closer!!!! I'm so excitedddddddddd!!! We've pretty much decided on letting ME get our luggage off the flight and have it delivered to our room, even though we are still nervous about it.

Oh yea and I'm not sure if I put this in my last update or not but the fridge swap we were in is closed, the fridge is lost So I got into another swap thankfully but only until the 23rd so the last 3 days of the trip we won't have a fridge, thats not a biggie though. I also have to place our order with gardengrocer.com. We're going to get some water and other things to keep in the room. And I have to have my Disney dollar rewards taken from my credit card and put onto a gift card too. I'm going to save some for my parents anniversary gift and use the rest for us.

So all in all, everythings starting to wrap up! It's getting so close and pretty soon we'll be able to say, "We're going to Disney World in less than a month!"

Cute journal!! I'm thinking of getting a little itty bitty notebook to throw into my bag. I'm terrible at the whole note thing! I do it for the first few days and then forget!

I was completely worried about ME taking my bags too and my TA told me she had never, ever heard of ME losing someones luggage. I know it's a control thing for me, I can I not be in control of everything for my family for an entire weeks?! Everything! But, I did it and it was fine! ME was great!!!!

I wouldn't worry that they would lose the luggage. Just be sure that in your carry-on you pack whatever you will need for your day of arrival. I'm sure it's different at each resort, but my sister arrived in Disney a bit after noon and didn't get her luggage until 1 a.m. and that's because she went down to sift through the luggage herself.

I have heard reports of this before at CBR (which is where she is), but I haven't heard it happening anywhere else. I'm not sure why, but to have some precautions, pack a swimsuit and something to change into for warmer weather and you'll be fine!

I can't wait, we have 34 days left! So, you must be 36?

This was such a fun update! I loooooooooveeeeeeeeeee trip shopping My mom, dad and I went to Target on Friday and my mom went to the travel aisle and was like, "We need to start buying our travel-sized stuff soon." And to prove that I'm not completely, over-the-top obsessed with this trip, I was the one who said, "We still have 4 months, I think we have time"... all while I was dying to buy everything Since we have the car and don't have to worry about weight limits (and rent a condo so we don't get all the cute hotel toiletries) we usually only get a few travel-sized things for our overnight stop and then bring everything full-sized. It helps with being there for 2 weeks too. I'm so jealous that you got to shop already, I can't wait!

That Tink notebook's so cute! Where'd you get it again? I keep looking in Target for a Disney-themed notebook but can't find one!

The Crocs... well, I'll forgive you I tried them on once and couldn't stand them. Everyone loves them and thinks they're so comfy but they just feel weird on my feet. Then again, I'm fine walking hours in flip-flops so maybe my feet are just crazy

You must have been psyched to get your Magical Express documents! It's so close!!! I'd be nervous about Disney taking care of my luggage too, but there's really no reason to worry. They do it hundreds of times a day and know what they're doing. I'm sure it'll all be fine.

Thanks Ariel!! I don't blame you for putting the face for the crocs lol Thats probably what I looked like when I opened the box! Chris even said they're so ugly but everyone said I'll appreciate them when my feet don't hurt. It's getting so close, I can't wait!

I was so excited for the ME tags, its coming so quickly! The Tink notebook was from the Disney store in our mall. It was like $8, a little overpriced but too cute to pass up as a trip journal!

I love the journal, thanks! The plan is to take the notebook with me to the parks and take some notes throughout the day but 1) that means I'll have to listen to Chris make fun of me the whole time for doing it and 2) I have a short term memory haha So we'll see how it works out!

I'm not worried that they'll lose the luggage I'm just worried about how long it will take us to get the luggage, I don't want to be looking for it myself like your sister! That stinks! I heard that it takes so long at the values too because of the amount of rooms they need to deliver to. Oh well, we're most likely going to end up leaving it to ME anyway!

You guys are lucky that you don't have to worry about the weight limits or travel size stuff (even though I think its cute lol) because I'm worried that with all the small stuff we'll run out of things! But since joining the DIS I'm all paranoid that I'm going to have sore feet so I tried to be proactive and get the crocs here instead of spending $40 in Disney if my feet hurt! lol They're atrocious though, I'm aware.

I was definitely so psyched for the ME documents, we're 90% sure we're going to let them get our luggage. I was just worried I wouldn't have luggage until like 12 midnight when we're getting to Orlando at 11:30 am. I'm sure it will be fine though. Almost less than a month

I love that tink book, i have a bit of an adiction with them. I can't help buying almost everyone i see and i dont even use half of them

The shoes on the other hand , i cant imagine they would be THAT comfortable thats its worth wearing them i have just never got the fasination with those things. But hope the are as comfy as you hope

Thats exactly how I feel, I would much prefer to wear my flip flops or dolly shoes, even if my feet do hurt a little more
