"We're going to Disney.. Surprise!" What to put in package?

Also, I saw at Walmart yesterday they had Mickey Pixel logo t-shirts for my DS (he is VERY tall for 7 so its hard to find Mickey clothing for cheap that isn't from the expensive Disney store) $5.97; and the girls section had quite a few Disney themed shirts also for $5.97. I will head over there tomorrow on my lunch break to add them to the kits.

I know I am going overkill, but we waited a LONG time to take this trip. Its very emotional for me. I've never been to Disney so I am very excited to give my children something I never had. I was "this" close to getting custom made Incredible's shirts for the 4 of us- how cute would that have been!

I know exactly how you feel, I get choked up just THINKING about my kids opening their Disney gifts and learning they are going to the happiest place on earth!!!

Question- where did you find the custom made Incredibles shirts? I think I must have them....

ETSY had them. The more I think about them the more I want them. The only reason I didn't order them was because we are going with my husband's family (group of 15 in total ). DH liked the idea, but also didn't want any one to feel alienated.

We did this our last trip. We told them about 20 minutes before we left for the airport. We got them each:

-a backpack (for airline carry on)
-an outfit (for the plane ride)
-PJ's
-a Disney toy
-an autographbook
-their magic band
-snacks for the plane
-new crocs

The idea was great, but don't be too surprised if you don't get the reaction you hoped for. It was early for my kids and they didn't believe me at first that we were going so didn't act incredibly thrilled. When they finally understood it was real they were incredibly overwhelmed. Total let down for me from the reaction I was hoping for. We go again in December and have already told them. haha
