We're going to Disney AGAIN? November '18 PTR

Hi everyone! We've become pretty regular Disney vacationers over the past few years and due to a great agency-exclusive offer, we're going back this fall!

Our soon-to-expand family includes myself, my husband, our two daughters (5 and 3.5 as of now, 5 and 4 at the time of our trip), and I'm expecting a little guy in the next few weeks! He'll be right around 5.5-6 months old during our trip.

We're going back to POP Century! We have a standard view room booked and I'm really hoping for Lake View.

We also decided to drop the number of park days and do a split stay at AKL!

We are definitely doing the (not free.. boo!) dining plan again. We may not come out much ahead regarding money, but it's SO nice to not have to count pennies while we're there since we're both inherently frugal. Pre-paying is definitely the way for us to vacation.

Right now we are booked November 13 - 20th, but our last day or so is pretty flexible depending on airfare home. 19th

It's DINING DAY!

I got up at the crack of dawn who am I kidding - I got up at the same time I do every day to get ready for work this morning. I had my laptop up, logged in, and loaded and my phone by my side with the MDE app running and logged in.... and the website WOULD NOT WORK.

Thank goodness for MDE because while I kept frantically trying to book CRT on the website (and logging in, and out, and in, and out...) I was able to secure 99% of our other ADRs on my phone.

UPDATE!

I wound up dropping two park days and switching around our plans. We're looking at two nights at AKL! I'm going to try to get our flight home on Sunday vs. Monday if I can find a good enough price.

I'm excited! A bit nervous about the refurb, to be honest. It doesn't look like a super long walk to get to the Kidani Village pool, thankfully. Google Maps says it should be a 9 minute walk.

ABOUT US

• ME I'm Robyn, a 31 year old full-time working mom of three. In my spare time (LOL remind me, what is spare time?) I show my Beagle in AKC shows like you see on TV. I've been doing dog shows since I was a teenager.
• DH Mike, my other half has come around to enjoy Disney as much as I do.
• The Kiddos
  • DD1 Melody is 5.5 and just started Kindergarten this year. She is super bright and very active! Right now she is in dance (tap, ballet) and tumbling. She would do more than that if we had the time. She strongly prefers vegetables to sweets, and will eat a whole cucumber in a sitting!
    
  • DD2 Annabelle is 4 and in Pre-K. She is the sweetest, most loving child. She is also my "sweet tooth" kid and loves chocolate.
  • DS Benjamin is our new baby who was born over Memorial Day weekend! He will be 5.5 months old for our trip this fall!

We'll be doing a LOT of "child swap" this trip. The girls are both tall enough to ride most things - Melody is 45" and Annabelle is 42"! The plan right now is for us to split our FPs (Me+DD1 & DH+DD2) then child swap so we switch off who is waiting with Benjamin.

I forgot about the Jambo House pool refurb (we were originally booked to stay at AKL, but switched to AoA after my mom decided to join us). That's good that the KV pool isn't too far; I'm pretty sure I recall reading some things about KV pool being a hidden gem sort of pool.

The KV kids splash area looks really nice, too!
