Are they like the summer crowds I just experienced in Aug?? When do the crowds go back down..Mon night or Tues or later?? Which days are the worst?? Thanks

My family has done MLK weekend for the past two years and will be returning for the same time in 2004. We have not encountered huge crowds. This last trip we walked right on to most everything. We may have used fast pass just a few times. I will recommend staying away from the MK past Friday, however, if crowds are a concern. But nothing like summer holiday crowds! Go and have fun! We will!

I asked the same question a few days ago and there were great replies. I'm going to try to post the link

It sounds like it's not bad if you avoid MK after Friday. I decided I didn't want to take a chance - I booked in Jan to avoid crowds. So, now we are going Jan 28 - Feb 2. Airline price was same - had to pay change fee of $50 each - about what we saved when we switched to Winter Dream Maker from room only AAA & buying PH+ separate. At least that's my story.;)

Hi - I went last year and arrived during the height of MLK. I noticed huge crowds at MGM. I had waiting lines in RnR and ToT of an hour or more. But once it was over the crowds dwindled down to nothing. Much nicer. Ever since I don't plan on going during MLK or President's week.

On two past trips we have arrived on the Saturday of MLK weekend. Our experience has been that, as long as we avoid MK, the crowds were low. I think we went to MGM on Sunday and either Epcot or AK or Monday, and had no problems with crowds.
