I know this is SO early and I know nothing is listed yet but I'm trying to get an Idea of what we NEED to do on Easter. We will be staying at POP and My husband is only coming in for the weekend and leaving the next day. He's a HUGE Holiday person and isn't happy about going on that day cause he thinks we should be home hunting eggs and eating a big meal, LOL. I know they have a Parade and I want my kids to see it but not sure the time? Is it in the AM since it's different from the other parade? Do you have any suggestions on where to go for food? I think were looking for a more sit down type of place. I've heard BOMA has a good Easter brunch but was wondering what other's? Any Activities at the resorts that are must do? Thank you!!!! I make my ADR's in 20 days!

Some of the resorts have an egg hunt and the GF has a beautiful egg display. Not sure about parade or special meals on Easter

If they still do it, the "Easter parade" in the Magic Kingdom was actually a "pre-parade" just ahead of Festival of Fantasy that featured some special Easter/Spring themed floats and characters including the Easter Bunny. We were there for Easter 2016, and though I had researched all of the "Eastery" things going on, we didn't really do or notice any of them. We were in Animal Kingdom on Easter Sunday, and honestly didn't really think about what day it was.

Epcot has (or at least had) a kind of egg hunt thing. There are big eggs with character faces on them "hidden" all around the World Showcase. You can get a map (I think they were $5) and you fill it out with which eggs are in which locations (maybe had stickers to put on the map? I can't remember). Then you bring the completed map back to a shop that sells them and they give you a prize for finding all of the eggs. We didn't do this, I just read about it and have no idea what the prize was.

Flower and Garden is also going on at Epcot during Easter, so there are lots of pretty flowers and topiaries as well as some "Outdoor Kitchen" food kiosks with yummy offerings.

A lot of restaurants do Easter Sunday brunches.

There are even church services in various locations. I think there's one at the Contemporary, and I'm not sure where else.

The closest we got to an Easter experience at AK was nearly seeing an unfortunate bunny rabbit attacked by a mob of savage meerkats. The CM at that habitat gave us a heads up that it was going to be gruesome if/when they got to the rabbit (and they had seen him and were heading his way...very close up to the viewing area...ugh). We left. I hope no unsuspecting, innocent children were traumatized that day by seeing a bunch of Timones violently murdering the Easter Bunny.

Easter is my favorite holiday at Disney and I'm a huge Xmas fan. All of the resorts have special Easter activities. So we like to make it a resort day with a nice brunch. We've done Boma, 1900 park fare and Cape May, they have all been great. GF, BC & YC all do Easter egg displays, so those are beautiful to see. As mentioned above there's a pre-parade in the MK on Saturday and Sunday as well as the egg hunt in epcot.

So wait, they have the Easter parade on Saturday too? I was hoping Somewhere in the Grand would do a Easter Brunch so If 1900 does that'd be great!

I can't say for other resorts but they have candy hunts at BWI & Y&B Club. They also do a photo op with Mr & Mrs Easter Bunny at BWI. The candy hunt (at both resorts) is really fun to watch (and I don't even have kids), they separate the kids by age group & the little toddlers are really cute-they can't find the candy that's right in front of them. Our last 2 Easter trips we've eaten dinner at Trattoria al Forno on the Boardwalk, the food is really good & since it's not a Signature restaurant it's a little more laid back being that it's a holiday. Enjoy yourselves!

Did you guys do a Brunch for that day? So basically there are lot's of resorts that have Easter Brunch? I thought it was only a few resorts?

I thought it was just a few resorts that did brunch as well but no we didn't do brunch. I figured Easter Brunch at either Narcooses or Cali Grill would have been a madhouse so DH played golf & I wandered the boardwalk & hit the quiet pool at BWI instead. We skipped the parks & had a very relaxing day & a great dinner.

Following because we will be there Easter too!! Staying at CBR. Are any of the Easter Brunch offerings character meals?

Oh my gosh we were just there for a quick Easter trip and LOVED it. Haven't read everyone's responses but by the time we made our plans, only Boma Easter brunch was available (we were flying out later and couldn't do dinner). It came with a glass of champagne, and Boma is delicious anyway! Of interest to your children might be the fact that a very special Bunny made an appearance in the AKL lobby! And cast members there were giving out Easter candy by the bagful-even to grownups! We were staying at AoA that trip and Mickey himself was greeting in the lobby - we saw on our way to brunch. I think they had lots of kids games set up too. AoA store was doing a fun pin trading event- you could pick an Easter Egg that had a pin inside, just a way to make trading more magical on a holiday. And yes, there's a giant egg hunt at Epcot where you hunt for character themed giant eggs hidden around world showcase. So fun- my prize was a Lady (of Lady and the Tramp) egg and I think it's the cutest thing ever. We were only there Friday night to Sunday night and had a blast. Hope that helps!

We are also going Easter week though we leave the Friday before Easter. I'm looking forward to the flower and garden festival at Epcot as well as the egg hunt. We're staying at shades of green so will be interesting to see if they do anything special!
