Subbing! We are going in Sept too but not till the 29th. We are also staying at CBR so I cant wait to hear how you like it. Are you making any building or room requests? I'm hoping to get first floor so we dont have to carry the stroller down the steps. Let me know how the buses run too.

I'll definitely let you know how we like it!! We're not making any requests besides rooms that are "close" but not connecting. I didn't want to be picky and request a building. I'm crossing my fingers for pixie dust when we get there and maybe an upgrade!!! I'm we're paying for preferred so I doubt we'll be in those building. I don't really have a preference where we are yet. I probably won't know until we get somewhere and see another building I like better!

hahaha too funny, I actually had your PTR open and was about to start reading it when I noticed I had a comment on mine, and it was you.. so I clicked on your PTR and it brought me right back to where I was already about to begin reading!

We stayed at CBR in 2009 it's sooo pretty we stayed in Martinique and I just loved it! I don't think it was a preferred building though. I'm also so jealous that you get to go in september with all of the low crowds, we are going as late as we can in august and hoping for the best but I got back to university in early september and just can't take the time off maybe when I've graduated!

We always do a half day at AK so in my opinion you won't be missing out on much by spending half a day there.

Oh man that's crazy!! Not stalking you, I swear!! I bet we're both stalking Touring Plans though! I'd love to spend a day photographing the animals too, they're like my favorite thing to shoot!! I spent a whole day at the ATL zoo recently shooting the animals with my Nikon D40, got some awesome shots!!

Only thing is, everyone else won't want to just wander around and wait for me to take pictures all day, so I'll have to do that some other time!

Very nice pictures! I'm jealous as we don't have any decent zoos around here. I think the closest major ones would be ATL and if there's one near New Orleans... Mobile is just kinda meh. Then again, we really could and I just don't know about it. I've been down here just over 3 years, and the extent of my Alabama geography is the route between work and home, and then between work and the different places we go to lunch.

Since I'm also using TP like you, then it certainly seems that we're following the same pattern, although my own will be changing after the day you posted as Mom leaves and I become solo, much hopping and much photography will be taking place

Speaking of which, I should probably update my own PTR. I meant to do it last night, but got caught up in my reprocessing project (had decided to redo all of my 1400 "decent" pictures from last trip... )

*For those not in the know, there's a friendly (now, in the past it was less so) rivalry between Nikon and Canon users. Do not take what I say seriously, as for the most part, you'll be disappointed

The dreaded Nikon/Canon debate!! I got my Nikon about 5 years ago as a Christmas present from my parents. So I didn't pick it, and a little, confession, I don't even know how to work MOST of the stuff it's capable of doing! I can point and shoot, manual focus, switch the ISO around, but that's about it!! SHHH!!

I'll keep checking your PTR for updates, and I also started reading your TR from your last trip so keep the updates coming!

105 DAYS!! GETTING CLOSE TO DOUBLE DIGITS!!​

So when we last left off we were on day 3, so lets keep it moving to day 4 plans!!

Tuesday the 18th

Today's

Day!

I've never ridden TSMM! I know I know, shame on me! SOO i'm hoping to get FASTPASSES for this early in the morning and actually ride it this year! The wait was 90 minutes in 2010, so of course Matt wanted to skip it!

Of course this day we'll hit the big attractions, RnRC, ToT, and the new Star Tours for sure!

I've gotta try a cupcake from Starring Rolls, and I'm thinking we'll just grab some CS at Pizza Planet. I've heard the food isn't that great hear but I think that atmosphere will be cute and Matt and I really like Toy Story!

I wanted to see Fantasmic this year but it doesn't look like it's going to happen. This is something else I haven't seen but we have an ADR this night in DTD @...

...

SOO it doesn't look like we'll see Fantasmic this year! Oh well! We'll probably head out from DHS whenever we're ready and go to DTD for some shopping before the ADR. I picked Bongos because this is going to be our OOP meal. Being from Tampa, FL, my parents and I have eaten Cuban sandwiches for YEARS and we love them!! I'm hoping that we can get some pretty good, decently priced Cuban food here this night!!

Well... a few weeks ago Matt started having some trouble with his teeth. One of his back teeth chipped off and it had to get filled. Then a week later (last week) his wisdom tooth, right behind it, which was growing it crooked as hell, chipped also! SOOO... needless to say, we had to have it taken out, and without insurance it was CLOSE to the balance we owed on our September trip!!! Oh well. I had most of it in savings and I put it on the Disney Visa. STILL... it sucks.

ANYWHOO... Back to updates?

Wednesday the 19th

This is our last day at the World! I have a big surprise planned this day for my dad and Matt!!!

We're all going to be going on a fishing excursion that leaves from the Yacht Club at 7 am!!! There's one that's at CBR already which would be much easier than having to drive over to the Yacht Club that early, but I didn't want to just fish in the little lake at CBR. I picked this location because this excursion actually takes you in the World Showcase to fish!! Matt really loves Epcot so I think he'll really like this location the best!! I'm really excited about this and I hope they really like it!!

Once we're done at 9 we can just walk over to Epcot from there, or head to MK. I'm thinking of heading over to MK instead though to get in one last visit there for the first part of the day, then go to Epcot for the remainder of the day. We have an ADR this night @...

TOKYO DINING!!

This is the only TS meal Matt and I had in 2010 so it's kinda special and I booked this as another surprise for this day. Of course if I tell him we're eating in Epcot and it's a surprise he'll know right away. Whatever! That picture is the actual table we had too! We were alone, and it was quiet and very special so I can't wait to go back!! Our ADR is at 8:20 too so maybe we can get next to the window again and catch Illuminations at 9!!

Well that looks like it for the plans! We'll be leaving the next day to drive back home. My next post will probably be things I wanna do/see/try that I haven't done before (or just really wanna do again), so stay tuned!!

Also, my opinion when it comes to Coral Reef is you go there for the ambiance, not the food. The food is okay, I didn't care for it all that much when I was there. However, it's just incredible to be at the aquarium. I am not sure how important it is to you to get a table next to the aquarium but if it's important get there early and make a request, make sure they know you are willing to wait (if that's true).

And lastly, I love CBR. It's my favorite resort. I think the value is perfect, especially when you consider how much time you spend at the hotel. It's a beautiful place to walk around, I'd highly recommend walking around in the early morning or late at night. It's just such great scenery.

Oh man, my best advice would be to google a vinylmation forum! What really got my started on my first one was I wanted a Mickey Christmas decoration. I went to the Disney Store in my local mall and saw the series that was out called "Jingle Smells". It looked like Mickey Mouse but it also looked like a snowman and smelled like Marshmallows! I wanted it for my mantel! Then I started seeing more Vinylmations and I realized the weren't just Christmas or seasonal decorations. I was hooked. I don't collect them all. I don't try to complete all of every series like some people. I mostly collect Mickeys and then others that I like that have meanings to me!

Long story short they are a Mickey Mouse shaped piece of "vinyl" with art work on them. they can be from a series like Pirates of the Caribbean or Toy Story, or they have their own series called "Park Series" and "Urban Series".

It gets pretty involved. I've never been to a big trading event and never even traded in the parks but I hopefully will in Sept!

Yeah, I made my own! I just grabbed a piece of 60 cent card stock from Michael's and cut it out in the shape of a mickey head! I put some sticker's on it with my username and put Dis on the ear! I'm gunna laminate it at work and punch a hole it the ear so I can hang it on my bag! I'll post a picture soon with my dining cards I had made, and a some other goodies soon!!

You and your DBF are a super cute couple.

Your trip sounds pretty great. You'll love CBR! It's one of my favorite places to stay. At night you'll have to lay in a hammock with your boyfriend and relax while looking at the stars. ((One of my favorite things to do)) I've always wanted to stay at the Poly too. I've never stayed there, but I got married there. I'd like to renew my vows and stay there someday. I can dream.
