We went for the first time April 2-9 and stayed at the Coronado Springs Resort. It was an absolute dream come true for me. I can honestly say that I'm addicted now......And I have finally convinced my husband to take us back! :Pinkbounc At first he was a little unsure because this is a big trip to him, but he now wants to make this a family tradition to go at least once every year. I couldn't agree more. Goodness, I think I fell in love with him all over again  . I'm so excited. Just the planning gives me a rush. We're gonna go sometime in late March/early April again. It wasn't that crowded to us even though it was during Spring Break.......I haven't written my first trip report yet because I'm trying to think of a clever way to start it.

I wish I could convince my DH to come go to Disney again - I am going at the end of the month and just taking my DD, a friend and my dad - once a year in enough for my husband - but I could go every few months.....It would be nice if we lived closers as the airfare is a killer - no good flights out of Syracuse - Hurray for you that you have a great honey!!!!

Thats what happens! Your hooked! We were home not even 2 weeks from our first trip, Dh and I started chating about what to do with some $ we have gottan from his dad for Christmas. We booked the next day for the same time in 2006. Its a down hill slide from here!!!!

Don't you just Love knowing you can always be planning another trip :cool1:
I was thinking of going mid March or mid April 2007, but my concern was crowd and weather. How was the weather when you were there? How long was the wait for rides? We have always gone Jan. or Oct. and 1 time the first week of March. So I really not familiar with any other months.

Thanks you, Maria

The weather was beautiful but if you can't take the heat than you're out of luck. At the time we went, Orlando was going through a drought that lasted for 40 days so the heat seemed more intense. It was on average 89 everyday except for one which might've been 80.....If you get there early enough you can get on a ride pretty quicky (depending on the park). Magic Kingdom was packed! One day we got there at like 11:30 and went to get a fastpass for....(I think it was Splash Mountain) and the fastpass time available was already for 6:30 - 7:00pm!

I think planning and the anticipation are almost better than the trip sometimes! :thumbsup2

We just went in April--we have DVC so we usually go 2x a year. We have our November trip booked already. I couldn't wait that long so we are toying with a late summer trip too. It is HIGHLY addictive!

Happy planning!

I actually took my family about 2 years ago and we really enjoyed it. We was like about 20 minutes away from DW because of the hotel we stayed in. But I was able to come across a vacation package for wholesale prices. Now I am able to take 25 vacations + 5 cruises. I can't WAITTT! We are planning on going this summer. I get a 4 day, 3 night complimentary lodging at a resort hotel in Florida. I got 2 tickets to Disney World,Universal Studios, Sea World, Islands of Adventure, plus many other choices. I got 1,000 in coupons for food, entertainment, activities, and dinner shows. I will have to pay a small fee for my children but who cares since I get all of the other extras. I wanted to know was alot of people able to save as much as me. :cheer2:
