You are guys are sweet to say those pics are good, but here are some better ones. It is freezing out there, but I did get out early yesterday and took some pics behind my house and on the trail that goes through the woods in our neighborhood. I saw some deer tracks, but didn't see the deer.
School was cancelled for today, but they did a good job on the roads yesterday and they're in good shape.
Doesn't it look like a set from Narnia. It was surreal walking through them. The tree limbs are all weighed down by the heavy snow, and they were hanging down in arches over the trail--made it look like some kind of ice cathedral. It as absolutely silent too.
These are color pictures--wild, ain't it?
Shirley, no snowman this time. They were too busy sledding and then they were exhausted--this is a good thing.
Those are nice pictures, but all cameras are fooled by snow. Cameras think that most scenes average a neutral grey, so can't believe everything is white!
Try over-exposing by 1-2 stops if you can, so that the snow looks white.
We've had a pretty mild winter over here in terms of snow...haven't had a blizzard for awhile at least. I think they've gotten a few large storms down in the Dakota's and Minnesota...but I guess there are just less "Colorado Low's" coming are way these days! Great photos! I like the colors....
