we're getting a food processor!

GF and I are getting a food processor from my mom for christmas!!

I've never had one before ...

what do you all make with yours? What are good quick meals, etc., to make using one?

I have no idea b/c all I know is my mom used to have one and she used it for exactly three things : grating cheese, making pizza dough, and grating zucchinis for zucchini bread. Every time she got it out, she'd swear at it a lot and then b**ch about how hard it was to clean!

Nevertheless... I am excited about getting one ... I think the one I picked out is easier to clean than the one she used to have (I hope.)

I make salsa with mine. I use it cut up tomato, onion, garlic, cilantro and such.
I make hummus, pizza dough, grate cheese, cut stuff--like celery/onions. I use it quite a bit.

You can also grind up Oreos to make Oreo Truffles!!
