I don't like cold weather but, surprisingly I get used to it after a while. As long as it's not windy, it's tolerable.

And we think we have it bad.....one of my oldest friends and her husband now live in Fairbanks AK. In her email to me on Saturday she mentioned that the temps had been hovering around -40F , but lately they have had a heat wave and it's made it up to -16F For their first anniversary he gave her boots rated to -25F, now that's love!

Looks like our yard. The neighbors pine tree is hanging over our fence, the chain link fence is covered in ice just like your trees. Our woods in the back looks like that too. Cars & trucks all have a sheet of ice on them, I had to start my car today & let it run for about 20 minutes to get most of the ice off of my windows. Better than messing with it early in the morning.
