Anybody here use Quicken Rental Property Manager?

I updated to the latest version and now I'm completely lost. I can't find how to correctley post rent paid and hve it reconcile with the checking account. If I enter the rent paid it posts it as a receivable them when I try to itemize the deposit made to the tenant it shows up twice in the checking ledger!

That's why we put of end of the year reports. I mean I already met with the accountant. I just want to start the year off right, so I signed up for a class in Quickbooks hopefully that'll help. But it's for 2 weeks everynight, then once I figure out how to work this program I've got to go back over 2 months worth of stuff & enter it.

So it might be until March before I'm hanging around again.

 No help, just a hug. Hang in there..Disney is coming up soon. :cool1:

Ok talked to hubby. He says the best way to do this is just make copies of the CD that we are all going in on and ordering with the copy right release. He says the concept of a snapfish type site to upload all these photos is great, but not so sure it will work with as many photos as he foresees and then being positive that we could all get some sort of archival cd. The "index" cd that the one site offers is just going to be thumbnails, which means low res.

What do you guys think??
Jamie

I will do it either way. I have no problem paying a little extra for shipping supplies, and postage. I just can't wait for our trip!!!!

I participated in a photoshare this past Sept. The person leading the photopass share sent me the Photopass CD (original) so I can't tell you what type of CD she used for the other members. I am only going for a 4 day weekend this trip and it is to the waterparks so I don't see myself having very many photos. (I can't see me posing for very many pics in my bathing suit!) :rotfl2: I would like some pictures for the kid's photo album tho.
We have plenty of time to get this all figured out.

Going to DH Grandmother's funeral today so won't be on until later tonight.

Disney posted my $0.00 balance for my May trip! :cheer2:

No problem coping the cd, just thought I'd offer options.
I think I'm going to use Shutterfly for my book this trip.

Here are the costs I've gathered

$3.18 : 5pk. padded envelope (Walmart)
$5.43 : 5 pk. 700mB CD-R (Walmart)
$99.00: Photopass cd (preordered)
-------
$107.61 / 6 members =

$17.94 +
$1.68 : postage
----------
$19.62 each

I may need help sorting photos though.

~Melani

OMG did you look at some of those photobooks in Shutterfly's Gallery? I can't imagine spending that much time on a book, but I saw one that looked simple enough so I clicked make one like it. You have to buy templates from Creative Mem & backgrounds from somewhere else and the borders and the lettering !! It would cost over $175 for it all! I think I'll stick with the plain , free backgrounds & templates thank you.
And I thought digital scrapbooking was a cleaner cheaper version.

I will be happy to help you sort photos. Just let me know what I can do to help. I had to leave right after the funeral Mass as the incense really made my allergies flare up. I can send you a check or money order ASAP, PM me your address. Amy

I saw you lurking on the disboutiquers board Melani. I love those dresses too!! I am looking at buying the pattern right now. Maybe we could both have photopass pics of them.

There is a handy list of when & where the photographers should be.

This class is so slow! I'm really dreading having to correct all the things I'm finding out I've entered wrong.

:goodvibes Now what a 13 year old girl is going to do with a 3 foot Mickey I don't know, but it was $9.99 and I need to come up with a way to give it to My DD for her b-day on the way to the airport. No, I did not buy it a plane ticket so it will stay in the van. :lmao: I think just wrap it with a "Surprise we're off to WDW" note.

I did get one for my younger DD for our weekend trip for her b-day in Sept. too. :)

I can make our dining ressies on Sat., can you tell I am just filling time until our trip? Hope everyone is ready to go.

I pm'd everyone my personal info.

I can't wait to make my ADRs either. I called a few days a go because I thought you had 90 +10 = 100 days before check-in.

Big let down. I have to wait till Feb.22nd. It's 90 days +10 after check-in ?!?!

Turns out I didn't really screw-p the account as bad as I had feared. Only a few more work days & should have it straight.

Amy, you could set him in a chair at the table & when she wakes-up she would see it w/a sign saying "Surprise!"

Got your PM. We don't know the price yet, right?

I am thinking of having Mickey buckled in the car when I pick her up after school that Fri. I am afraid if I tell her in the AM she won't pay attention in school. :scared1:

Disney is NOT going to rain on my parade! I saw this:

Starting March 30, 2009

Luggage service will no longer be available for arrivals to Orlando International Airport after 10 PM. You will need to take your luggage to the Welcome Center for Disney's Magical Express. You and the luggage will be transported on the bus.

My flight arrives at 10:07 PM! :lmao:

I'm going to do the "We're going to Disney dance." :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Unfortunately it is back to laundry. :laundy:

Melani I am glad it isn't as bad as you thought. Good luck on Sunday with your ADR's, I call Sat. :yay:

I get to do my adr's sat too:banana:

I have picked up a few surprise gifts for the kids b/c everywhere I go I can't help but think about our trip.

Melanie,

I got my feliz pattern in the mail today and I'm gonna try and start this weekend. Hopefully it all goes well. Have you tried it yet?

krissy

No, I chickened out & just got a Simplicity sundress pattern from Wallyworld. It's exactly like a dress she has that I bought at Ross for $7

I met Cinderella today!

Actually I met a girl who plays Cinderella during the summer. She's the one at 1900 Park Fare.

I went to an office supply store to buy tomer & she saw my Disney Visa. Small World, huh.

How cool is that!?! The summer time Mary Poppins is a Teacher's Aide at the Junior High School here in my town. She sometimes plays Belle. My DH was  scared :scared1: to learn that the  love of his life (Mary Poppins) isn't a real person. :lmao:
