We're driving!!!!!!

After weighing the options and looking at both sides, we've decided to drive in Oct. It's about 700 miles so we're thinking 14 hours maybe...

We're excited about a road trip but have never taken one this long before. 8 hours to the beach about killed us several years ago but the kids were little then. Now they're school age so maybe that will be better.

Anyone have any suggestions on places to stop for a break from Atlanta down to Fla? That's our longest part. I'm gathering ideas for car games and such but any and all suggestions are welcome both coming and going!

Try to get a DVD player for the car ride! Kids can watch cartoons and movies for hours happily! They kind of go into a state of suspended animation! Don't forget two pairs of headphones and the splitter connector thing to hook them both up. Try Radio Shack for that! Have a great trip!
